i am
by Seah Greenhorn
(Poem with copyright)
Stretched
as copper
pliable, yet thin-
skinned.
Buried
shiny cable.
Tarnished
brilliance confined,
until exposed
or burnished,
denied.
Still-in-all,
a conductor of heat--
not an enemy.
Your friend.
